Sun & weather protection for a backyard swimming pool.
Results achieved are:
1.The new, retractable awnings provide sun & UV protection for the family by keeping the sun off the swimming pool area, and off the back of the house.
2.Configuration was for 2 retractable awnings to be supported on an existing pergola across the backyard pool, providing many options in their use. Each awning measured 3.3 meters by 4.7 meters, providing a large shaded area when in use.
3.Docril Weave fabric was chosen. The colour “Fawn” provides a natural background to the existing colour scheme.
4.Docril is 100% Solution dyed acrylic fabric ideal for blinds, awnings, umbrellas, boat covers, boat hooding, outdoor furniture & cushions. Nominal weight is 315gsm, and finished with a Teflon upper side and polyurethane under side.
5.Fabric care when used in a permanent outdoor situation Docril should be hosed regularly to remove dust, bird droppings and other solid particles. Water based stains should be treated first by rinsing in cold water.
